This fall, celebrate the spirit of the Games with 2010 Legacies Now. Use our school resources on or before October 30, 2009, and your school will be qualified to enter to win tickets to Olympic and Paralympic events!
2010 Legacies Now has developed school resources with a goal of building a legacy of healthy living, arts participation and social responsibility in B.C. schools. The four resources listed below give you four ways to enter the 2010 Legacies Now Olympic and Paralympic Tickets Contest for Schools. Learn more about these resources by scrolling below.

The contest runs August 24, 2009 to November 14, 2009 and is open to every school in B.C. There are two 2010 Winter Games prize packages to be won, which include:
- One Olympic prize package of four tickets to the Men's Ice Hockey Bronze Medal Game (Vancouver), and
- One Paralympic prize package of four tickets to Men's and Women's Alpine Skiing Downhill and four tickets to Men's and Women's Alpine Skiing Super-G (Whistler).
A travel and accommodation allowance will be available for schools that reside outside of the event areas.

Action Schools! BC™ (AS! BC)
Action Schools! BC is both a source of inspiration and a practical model designed to assist schools in developing plans to promote physical activity and healthy eating. Teachers who are registered with Action Schools! BC and have used the resources in their classrooms on or before October 30, 2009 are eligible to enter the contest on behalf of their schools.
Heroes Live Here
Heroes Live Here encourages children and youth to discover what makes a hero heroic, to celebrate the everyday heroes in their own lives, and to act heroically themselves through projects that reach out to their community.
Teachers who are using, or intend to use, Heroes Live Here in their classrooms become eligible to enter the contest once they have completed and submitted the Heroes Live Here planning template. Infusion™: Arts in Education
Infusion: Arts in Education provides teachers with strategies for incorporating the arts – visual art, dance, drama, music and more – into all curriculum subject areas to enhance learning and to support collaboration between classrooms. Teachers who have run an Infusion camp or attended an Infusion: Arts in Education workshop by October 30, 2009 are eligible to enter the contest.

SportFit™
SportFit is a free, easy-to-use online program that encourages children and youth to discover sports that match their physical abilities and individual interests. Each time a teacher or administrator runs SportFit with a class or group by October 30, 2009 (including online student data entry), he or she becomes eligible to submit (1) one contest entry, up to a maximum of five entries.
