Infusion™ (Arts in Education) logo

Infusion is a flexible model for generalist teachers focusing on arts-based play and knowledge integration. This model will assist teachers to incorporate the arts – visual art, dance, drama, music and art technology – into all kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum subject areas.

Infusion will help teachers establish direct linkages across disciplines and provide students with opportunities to use different modes of expression. Infusion encourages active learning where unlimited imagination, partnered with purpose, structure and discipline, help students make connections within multidisciplinary work. Students retain knowledge and use it in many contexts and situations.

Creating a school climate that supports collaboration between classrooms and discplines, and that promotes positive learning conditions are primary benefits to using the Infusion arts-enriched learning model.
