BC Activity Reporter
The BC Activity Reporter is the province’s online source of centralized sport and recreation participation data.
2010 Legacies Now and the Province of B.C. developed the BC Activity Reporter website (www.BCActivityReporter.com) to collect and measure sport and recreation participation levels across the province. Provincial sport organizations and parks and recreation departments will use the website’s online tools and reports to support planning for programs and services delivered in their communities.
Build your own reports
Participating organizations can create custom, online reports using select recreational activities, sport membership data, valuable community demographic information and sport and recreation facilities. Information can be analyzed for a number of boundaries, for neighbourhoods or municipalities, or to make province-wide comparisons.
Information available in the BC Activity Reporter:
- Annual membership numbers from provincial sport organizations
- Continually updated participation statistics for select recreational activities
- Demographic data and community statistics from the 2006 Census
- Sport and recreation facility locations
- Over a hundred key geographical boundaries
- Convenient and customizable maps and reports
Make sure your community is counted!
